St. Henry OH Wedding – Bryce and Renee

Here they are.  My last wedding couple for 2013. I always get really sentimental this time of year when the final wedding of the year is presented.  The truth is… I love weddings so much that sometimes I’m a little sad when some are over. This wedding was beautiful for several reasons.. Beautiful couple, beautiful church, beautiful weather… albeit cold… but it is December… and a beautiful love.  Bryce and Renee were terrific to work with from the get-go. So for that I say thank you. There was a very slight glitch in the wedding schedule as Renee called the week of the wedding and said there was a funeral mass at the church the morning of the wedding.  With all due respect to the funeral attendees we waited until the last person was out of the church before starting photos.  The wedding party, bride and groom rolled with the changes and it all went so smoothly. There is more I could say about this wedding but the photos will tell the story.

Meet the Newlyweds: Bryce and Renee
Wedding Date: December 7, 2013
Location: St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry, OH
Reception: Romer’s Catering, St. Henry, OHHow they met: Bryce was friends with Renee’s cousin and initially the two met as a result of that friendship. Over time they started seeing each other in a different light and officially started dating in 2008.

Engagement: Bryce’s original plan of a romantic dinner and a carriage ride in Grand Rapids, MI (where he was living at the time) fell short when he received a phone call from the carriage company during dinner saying that they had over-booked. He had to quickly come up with Plan B. After dinner they ended up taking a walk along the river – which was something they did when Bryce had first moved to MI. They decided to stop at the same spot where they stopped previously to take their first picture together in Grand Rapids. While there, he popped the big question. Among the instant tears and excited laughter, Renee did manage to muster out a loud “YES”!

Favorite wedding memories. One of Renee’s was during right after she walked down the aisle. She and Bryce had just sat down for mass and he leaned over and told her she looked beautiful. For Bryce: He loved seeing the doors open at the ceremony and watching Renee come down the aisle. First Dance Song: Tiny Dancer by Elton John
Honeymoon Location: Punta CanaBryce and Renee, You already know how much I loved your wedding. It was the perfect wedding to end 2013 on. There were some really special parts of your wedding from my perspective as well. I know you’re still waiting to hear the doozy from Lori so I can’t spill that. But the best I can do is say thank you for allowing me to be part of this most special day for you. I have enjoyed working with you from day one. God bless you both as you start the beautiful journey of marriage. Much love, Amy Have a very Merry Christmas. Love to all, Amy
