Wedding post day is always such a popular one here on the blog. Today I have a family wedding for you. The groom is my cousin. It seems like we just did his senior photos! Lucas and Erin have been together for several years. I remember meeting Erin at another family wedding a few years back. Last Fall we had such a beautiful day for their engagement photos in Fort Wayne. You can click here for those. This go around it was such a HOT and humid day… as in dripping hot. Erin and Lucas were troopers through it all… and as you can see, Erin’s dress was absolutely gorgeous and not exactly lightweight.
Their wedding had some neat elements to it. One that was new to me was the tree planting ceremony. Instead of a unity candle or sand ceremony they planted a tree together. I thought it was really significant of the new life they are building together. And then……. I just have to mention the ‘excitement’ when Lucas dropped the ring during the ceremony. Oh Lucas!
All in all it was such a lovely day and it was SO GREAT to see my cousins. I love them all and don’t get to see them as often as I would like.
Lucas and Erin, thank you for having me. You didn’t have to hire me just because I’m family. But I am so happy that you did. Much love to you both.
Enjoy these highlights.
