St. Joseph’s College Wedding – Cory and Adriane

I love wedding post day! Today I have the wedding of Cory and Adriane. It is quite rare when I photograph a wedding without having a meeting with the bride and groom first. But this couple resides in Arizona so there wasn’t an easy way to make that happen.

Wedding day was my first chance to meet the bride and groom. It was so great to put faces with names as we had been talking on the phone and emailing back and forth.  I met Adriane first in the bride room.  After 2 seconds of meeting her I knew she was going to be a fantastic bride. Then when I saw her shoes I knew that she had great style!  I was slightly obsessed with her shoes. 😉

There were some special elements included in the day. First of all the couple wed on the campus where they met, St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, IN.  Another sentimental element was the use of the bride’s late Grandfather’s truck.  His red truck was special to the family and it was spruced up and ready for photos for us.  Those truck photos are some of my favorites of the bride and groom.

It was a joy to spend the day with this couple and their wedding party and families.  Thank you, Cory and Adriane for entrusting someone whom you had never met as your wedding photographer.  I appreciate you both.

Here is a preview of their wedding photos.

Have a blessed day.

Love, Amy

Meet the Newlyweds: Cory and Adriane
Wedding Date: May 31, 2014Location: St. Joseph’s College, Rensselaer, IN

Adriane’s dress was a stunner.  It looked perfect on her.How they met: Cory and Adriane met in August 2006 at Saint Joseph’s College. Cory sat next to her during a Spanish placement test and we ended up getting placed in the same class with a total of 3 students.Engagement: They got engaged on July 14, 2012 at Saint Joseph’s College. It was Cory’s 25th birthday and their best friend’s wedding day. After the reception Cory took Adriane to the spot he first laid eyes on her and proposed! Favorite Wedding Day Memories: (In Adriane’s words) It’s  hard to choose because there are so many, but both of us said the first look! It was breathtaking and very monumental for both of us! We also really enjoyed walking out into the bubbles with all of our family and friends cheering for us! I also loved when we entered the ballroom and Cory picked me up …I was completely surprised!  And last one, I promise!!!! The dollar dance was one of my favorite memories because I got to spend a special moment with all my loved ones…I could have danced all night! 🙂 Honeymoon location: They stayed at the Canyon Wren Cabins in Sedona, Arizona. It was a beautiful Bed & Breakfast! First Dance Song: A Moment Like This by Kelly ClarksonCory cracked me up with his dance moves.  Go Cory!

Thank you Cory and Adriane.  You were wonderful. I wish the all the best in your marriage.

The bride and groom would like to give a shout out to their vendors.

The Florists & Bakers: Patty McTighe & Teresa Snyder. Patty and Teresa did an amazing job with the cakes and flowers. They truly went above and beyond the couple’s expectations!
Tom Lohmuller, Groomsman and Organ Player. When their organ player cancelled at the last minute, Tom stepped in and saved the day! We are forever thankful! (I would like to second that. I’ve never heard anyone play the organ like that!)
The DJ, Dan Lehman. As a very generous gift, Dan offered to be their DJ! They were so grateful for his help!
Nicole Carson made all of the wedding favors! They were so adorable (and yummy!) and appreciated.
