This wedding was one of the most special celebrations of family that I have ever seen. Jeff and Renee both have very large and close knit families. The entire day was a reflection of the upbringing that both of them had and the love that they have found in one another. The day began with their first look and some photos of the wedding party. The soft pinks of the dresses and flowers, along with the poolside vows set the tone for the perfect summer wedding.
One of the most touching parts of their wedding reception was when guests came forward to offer their personal toasts to the bride and groom. There were tears, goosebumps (even though it was 90 degrees) and so many hugs and kisses. It was crystal clear how much Jeff and Renee are deeply loved by their family and friends who were present.
When the night was over and I left, I had a feeling that I wish we could do the day all over again. It was just that special!
Jeff and Renee – from the bottom of my heart – thank you for having me be with you on wedding day. It was a joy to watch the day unfold and I am so happy that you have found the gift of love in one another.
Enjoy the highlights of your wedding.
MEET THE NEWLYWEDS: Jeff and Renee WEDDING DATE: August 13, 2016 LOCATION: Sycamore Hills Swim and Racquet Club HOW THEY MET: Jeff’s sister, Jean, is a patient at the dental office that Renee works in. When Jean found out that Renee was single she asked if she could set Renee up with her brother, Jeff. ENGAGEMENT: Christmas morning 2015 – Jeff and Renee were opening presents with Jeff’s children. After they were finished opening their gifts, Jeff handed Renee a gift. They had already opened gifts with each other the evening before so she was surprised with getting another one. Renee opened the box and inside was an engagement ring charm with a note “Will you be my wife”? After a minute and a half of making him sweat and very nervous….she said YES!! The reason she paused was due to not reading the note and not wanting to misinterpret what the ring charm was really about. He gave Renee the charm because he wanted her to pick out what type/kind of ring she wanted. This was a true surprise because although Renee knew they would eventually get married they hadn’t discussed when.
