Michael and Destinee – Wedding

As you may know, Fall is the busiest time of year for professional photographers.  This Fall is proving to be as predicted.  This bride and groom had an early Fall wedding day and we were so fortunate to have such a gorgeous day for their photos.  Normally when photographing at this church I aim for a certain side of the church which has pretty little hills and some trees. But that wasn’t possible for this wedding.  There was a soccer game going on in full view in that area.  Thankfully we had the cloud cover to head to the east side and use a completely different scene than is typical at that church.  I was confident that the bride and groom didn’t want soccer players in their photos.  Afterall, this was a wedding, a day of Holy Matrimony, not a sporting event.

The first thing I noticed upon arrival was how beautiful Destinee looked. She was glowing. Her color palate was so gorgeous.  I have a couple of bridesmaid photos so you can see the pink and gold hues.  SO pretty!  Destinee’s veil was one of my favorite parts of her attire.  The veil held such special meaning. It was her mom’s wedding veil, and was also worn by her sister for her wedding a few years ago.  I love that tradition!  You will see her flowing veil in the highlights below.

Another thing that I thought was so neat was at the reception both Destinee’s mom and her grandmother’s wedding dresses were displayed.  The ring shot below was on her grandma’s dress. There is nothing prettier than diamonds and lace!

Enjoy this preview Michael and Destinee.
