We are in the thick of wedding season – which is my favorite time of year besides Christmas! Today I have a very special bride and groom to share with you. Josh and Katie were married recently in an outdoor ceremony at their home. This is the same location that their engagement photos were taken in January. It looks completely different when not covered in snow!
The entire day was a perfect representation of their personalities and also their love for one another. Katie’s dress had the most gorgeous detail to it and she looked radiant all day long. Even in the humidity she looked flawless!
Speaking of humidity. The entire day it looked like it was going to rain. As I was photographing the ceremony I watched the dark clouds completely surround the property but it never touched their ceremony. Josh’s family put a rosary on a rose bush the morning of the wedding and that was to keep the rain away. It worked! There wasn’t any rain until late into the reception.
It was such a joy to be part of their wedding day. I’ve known Katie for several years and I know that she has has truly found the love of her live in Josh. They’re perfect for one another.
Thank you, Josh and Katie. I loved being with you from start to finish. Congratulations on a lifetime of love. Enjoy the wedding highlights below.
