Portland IN Wedding – Jordan and Makenzie

Jordan and Makenzie were married on a perfectly, warm August day.  They have been planning this day from a distance for a long time!  The newlyweds live in Alabama, but are originally from Portland/Muncie.  I know this day had to be everything they dreamed of and more.  They were surrounded by family and friends as they said,  “I do “in  in Portland. We then drove to Muncie to one of the most beautiful venue’s in the area; Cornerstone Center for the Arts.  The columns and the marble give the venue a New Orleans feel. It is stunning.

To say I was obsessed with Kenzie’s shoes is an understatement!  She walked around in them all day like a boss.  One of the sweetest things about her wedding was what was tied to her shoe.  Kenzie’s dad watched from Heaven. But, she tied a special photo of her dad onto her shoe so that he could in-fact walk her down the aisle.  Yes, I just got teary typing it, so it’s okay if you wiped a tear too.  The same charm was tied to her sister’s bouquet for her wedding.

At the end of this wedding I was a little sad that it was all over.  It was a joy to spend this day with Jordan and Kenzie.   We shared a great engagement session earlier this year in Gulf Shores, AL and an even better day at the wedding.  Click here to see the highlight’s of their engagement session.

Jordan and Kenzie, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for having me as your photographer. It was such a beautiful day.  Enjoy your highlights below.

Much love,
