The Zeigler Family

Oh boy, where do I begin with this family.

I love photographing the Zeigler family.  I really do.   Rosie always comes up with a great location and we always have a blast together.   The thing that I love so much about this family is that they are REAL! They always want me to come and shoot and capture the real life moments in their family. They let me follow them around with a camera. They unfold the moments and I click.   It’s just that simple.  That my friends, is when the best and most memorable photos are taken.

Here is a small montage of some of our family sessions over the years.

Rosie gave me a heads up a few months ago that they were going to be leaving the house that they started their lives in.  It has been a wonderful house but they decided to build a little closer to Josh’s work.  Josh and Rosie wanted a photo shoot at the house to capture the memories that they have built together.  I went up a week before they moved and followed them around with a camera.  When I arrived sleepy Drake was just waking up from his nap. I sneaked in his room and saw his little eyes open. I started talking to him softly and he looked up as if it to say, “oh it’s just Amy.”  Soon he grabbed a book and sat on a chair in his room and then perked up and was ready for some real play time.

Jaden went to his room and played with his legos and even grabbed a photo that I had taken of him when he was 8 months old.  Jaden and I are buds.  We go back a whole 5 years!

Riding bikes around the cul-de-sac is something that the boys love to do.  Quickly we were outside as they rode in front of their home.  Then it was back to the yard. We even walked over to the neighbors for a quick photo with them.  The Zeigler family is going to be very missed in their neighborhood.  I’ll even miss their house too. Although I admit, I can’t wait to see the new house soon!

Here is one of the funnest families I know.  They are my clients and my very dear friends.  Thank you so much Josh and Rosie. I appreciate you guys so much.

Love,

Amy
